About Peace Out Club- Afterschool Club Certification Program
Peace Out Club-After school Club Certification Program is a holistic, 6-week online program. The objective of the program is to teach how to guide and maintain mindfulness education, yoga education, and peace education for school-age children, primarily as an after school class. Included in the online program are 18 children’s lessons in mindfulness, yoga, and peace and Ana Camacho-Hansen’s Yoga for Big Hearts & Little Hands: A Handbook of Yoga Poses for Children. Each lesson is differentiated by age group and has been implemented/refined in real classrooms. The beginning of the course covers educational standards and the most recent scientific research that supports the practices of mindfulness, meditation and self-care. Step 3: You will receive the link to the online classroom. Once your have received your link, then you can participate on the first day.
